Pink and White, sometimes Crimson

The Cosmos flower in March every year, along the highways and country roads.  It is selective though and chooses it's patches carefully and then makes a spectacular show of over a meter tall waving stems topped with wide-open blooms facing the sun.  The crimson flowers are scarce and on this trip we found none.  A different area this time - Vereeniging and then going on to Heidelberg, Gauteng.
