The Wait

A newly started fire gave these egrets the opportunity for some 'fast food' to come their way with the grasshoppers and other desperate insects fleeing for their lives.

Peacock Blue

We were very disappointed that this peacock did not feel the need to fan his tail!  They were quite tame and allowed us to follow them around but in the end we didn't get the shot we were hoping for.

There were Eight Flamingos!

'Vygies"

These precious bright little Winter flowers are called 'Vygies'!  We thought they were native to South Africa but after enquiring with friends on Facebook whether they grew anywhere else - the answers came back that they grew in California, Australia (called Livingston Daisies) and even in Russia and therefore possibly a couple more countries around the world!
