The Yellow Flowers

Farming of this bright yellow flowering plant is carried out along the N2 from Botrivier and Caledon to Riviersonderend and right up until Swellendam in the shadow of the mighty Donkerhoekberge and Riviersonderendberge in the Cape.

The Rapeseed plant is part of the Mustard family and is farmed extensively all over the world. It is sort after for it's oil properties, Canola oil being it's most common and well known use.
